Review Santa Fe is an annual juried portfolio review that invites 100 photographers to show their work to various professionals: gallerists, museum curators, book publishers, online photography sites, etc.
One evening all of the 100 photographers display their work to the public at the Santa Fe Farmers Market.
I have again been chosen as one of 200 finalists in the 2016 Photolucida Critical Mass Competition. The finalists’ photographs are sent to reviewers all over the world and in October, they choose the “Top 50,” which is a very prestigious award.
Also, Center Santa Fe hosts a yearly juried portfolio review. I was one of 100 picked, based on my “What Is Left Behind” series. I will be showing this work in Santa Fe in early November.
“Midnight Walker” was chosen by juror Sean Corcoran to be part of an exhibit with the theme of “Night.” It will be shown from June 17 – July 23, 2016.
The Griffin Museum of Photography in Winchester, Mass. will exhibit "Wedding Dress," "Wedding Night Negligee," Sewing Table," and "A Widow's Poem" at Digital Silver Imaging, which is an annex of the Griffin, from May 31 through July 22, 2016. Two other artists, Bob Cowie and Bill Vaccaro, will also have work shown. The title of the exhibit coincidentally is "What Is Left Behind." Here are the four images of mine that will be shown.

Aline Smithson features my “What Is Left Behind” series on her blog today (Dec. 5, 2015). HERE IS LINK Aline has been one of my most influential teachers and mentors. Besides being an incredible artist, she is truly a friend to all fine art photographers, especially those of us who are “emerging.”
